एक छोटे से गाँव में एक लड़का रहता था।  उसके घर की आर्थिक स्थिति बहुत ही कमजोर थी।  क्योकि जब वह छोटा था।  तब ही उसके पिता की मृत्यु हो गयी थी।

 उसकी माँ घर घर जाकर बर्तन माँज कर और सिलाई करके किसी न किसी तरह अपने घर का गुजारा करती थी।  वह लड़का अक्सर चुपचाप ही बैठा रहता था।

एक दिन उसके अध्यापक ने उसे एक पत्र देकर कहा - तुम इसे अपनी माँ को दे देना।  उसने घर आकर उसने पत्र अपनी माँ को दे दिया।

 उसकी माँ उस पत्र को पढ़कर मन ही मन मुस्कुराने लगी।  बेटे ने अपनी माँ से पूछा - माँ इस पत्र में क्या लिखा है।

 माँ ने मुस्कुराते हुए कहा - बेटा इसमें लिखा है की तुम्हारा बेटा कक्षा में सबसे होशियार है।  इसका दिमाग सभी बच्चों से तेज है।  हमारे पास ऐसे अध्यापक नहीं है।

 जो आपके बच्चे को पढ़ा सके।  इसलिए आप इसका एडमिशन किसी ओर स्कूल में करवा दीजिए।

 यह सुनकर वह लड़का खुश हो गया।  और साथ ही साथ उसका कॉन्फिडेंस बहुत ही बढ़ गया है।  वह मन ही मन सोचने लगा की उसके पास कुछ खाश है।

 जिसके कारण वह इतना समझदार और तीव्र बुद्धि वाला है।  अगले ही दिन उसकी माँ ने उसका एडमिशन दूसरे स्कूल में करवा दिया।

 उस लड़के ने मन लगाकर पढाई की और एक दिन अपनी मेहनत के दम पर सिविल सर्विसेज का एग्जाम पास कर लिया।
उसकी माँ बूढी हो चुकी थी।  और एक बीमारी से ग्रस्त होने के कारण।  एक दिन अचानक ही उसकी मृत्यु हो गयी।  उस लड़के को अपनी माँ से बहुत ही लगाव था।

 वह बहुत रोया।  तभी अचानक उसने अपनी माँ की अलमारी खोली, और उसके सामानो को देखने लगा।  केवल उसकी नज़र एक पत्र पर पड़ी।

 यह वही लेटर था। जो उसकी टीचर ने उसकी माँ को देने के लिए दिया था।  जब उसने उस पत्र को पढ़ा तो उसके होश उड़ गए।

 उस पत्र में लिखा गया था कि आपको यह बताते हुए हमे बहुत दुख है। आपका बेटा पढ़ाई - लिखाई में बहुत ही कमजोर है।  यह खेल कूद में बहुत अच्छा नहीं है।

 जिस तरह से इसकी उम्र बढ़ रही है।  उस तरह से इसकी बुद्धि का विकास नहीं हो रहा है।  इसलिए हम इसे स्कूल से निकाल रहे हैं।  आप इसका ऐडमिशन किसी दूसरे स्कूल में करवा दें।  नहीं तो घर रहकर इसे पढ़ाइये।

दोस्तों इस प्रेरक कहानी से मैं आपको ये समझाना चाहता हूँ।   जिस प्रकार पत्र पढ़कर उसकी माँ ने अपने बेटे की सोच बदल दी।  ठीक उसी प्रकार आप भी अपनी सोच बदल सकते हैं।
