                                  आखिरी प्रयास 

एक समय की बात है|एक राज्य में एक प्रतापी राजा राज्य करता था एक दिन उसके दरबार में एक विदेशी मनुष्य आया  और उसने राजा को एक सुंदर पत्थर उपहार में प्रदान किया

राजा वह पत्थर को देखकर बड़ा प्रसन्न हुआ उसने उस पत्थर से भगवान विष्णु की प्रतिमा का निर्माण कर उसे राज्य के मंदिर में स्थापित करने का निर्णय लिया और प्रतिमा निर्माण का कार्य राज्य के महामंत्री को सौंप दिया|

महामंत्री गांव के सर्वश्रेष्ठ मूर्तिकार के पास गया और उसे पत्थर देते हुए बोला कि महाराज मंदिर में विष्णु भगवान की प्रतिमा स्थापित करना चाहते हैं सात दिवस के भीतर इस पत्थर से भगवान विष्णु की प्रतिमा तैयार करके राज महल में पहुंचा देना इसके लिए तुम्हें 50 स्वर्ण मुद्राएं दिए जाएंगे|

मूर्तिकार इस उद्देश्य को पूरा करने के लिए अपने औजार निकाल लिए अपने इन औजारों में से एक हथोड़ा निकाला और पत्थर पर वार करने लगा  किंतु वह पत्थर जस के तस रहा उसने फिर कई बार उस पत्थर पर वार किए परंतु पत्थर नहीं टूटा|

50 बार प्रयास करने के उपरांत मूर्तिकार ने अंतिम बार प्रयास करने के उद्देश्य से हथोड़ा उठाया किंतु यह सोचकर हथौड़े से पत्थर पर प्रहार करने के पूर्व ही उसने हाथ खींच लिया कि जब 50 बार हथोड़ा मारने से नहीं टूटा तो अब क्या टूटेगा|

वह पत्थर लेकर वापस महामंत्री के पास गया और महामंत्री से बोला कि यह पत्थर तोड़ना नामुमकिन है इसलिए इससे भगवान विष्णु की प्रतिमा नहीं बन सकती|

महामंत्री को राजा का आदेश हर स्थिति में पूर्ण करना था इसलिए उसने भगवान विष्णु की प्रतिमा निर्मित करने का कार्य एक गांव के एक साधारण से मूर्तिकार को सौंप दिया पत्थर लेकर मूर्तिकार ने महामंत्री के सामने ही उस पर हथौड़े से प्रहार किया और वह पत्थर एक बार में ही टूट गया|

पत्थर टूटने के बाद मूर्तिकार प्रतिमा बनाने में जुट गया इधर महामंत्री सोचने लगा कि काश पहले मूर्तिकार ने एक और अंतिम प्रयास किया होता तो सफल हो जाता और 50 मुद्राओं का हकदार होता|

मित्रों हम भी अपने जीवन में ऐसी परिस्थितियों से दो-चार होते रहते हैं कई बार किसी कार्य को करने के पूर्व या किसी समस्या के सामने आने पर उसका निराकरण करने के पूर्व ही हमारा आत्मविश्वास डगमगा जाता है और हम प्रयास किए बिना ही हार मान लेते हैं कई बार हम 1,2, प्रयास में सफलता नहीं मिलती है तो हम प्रयास करना छोड़ देते हैं

यदि जीवन में सफलता प्राप्त करनी है तो बार-बार असफल होने पर भी तब तक प्रयास करना नहीं छोड़ना चाहिए जब तक सफलता नहीं मिल जाती. क्या पता जिस प्रयास को करने के पूर्व हम हाथ खींच ले वही हमारा अंतिम प्रयास हो और उसमें हमें कामयाबी प्राप्त हो जाए.

English translation:-

Last attempt

 Once upon a time, a glorious king ruled in a kingdom. One day a foreign man came to his court and gifted a beautiful stone to the king.

 The king was very happy to see the stone, he decided to build the statue of Lord Vishnu from that stone and install it in the temple of the state and handed over the work of building the statue to the state's Chief Minister.

 The General Minister went to the best sculptor of the village and gave him a stone and said that Maharaj wants to install the statue of Lord Vishnu in the temple and prepare the statue of Lord Vishnu from this stone within seven days and send it to the Raj Mahal for this.  Will be given

 To accomplish this purpose, the sculptor took out his tools and took out a hammer from one of these tools and started hitting the stone, but the stone remained like it again hit it several times but the stone did not break.

 After trying 50 times, the sculptor raised the hammer for the last attempt, but before pulling the stone with a hammer, he pulled out his hand, what would break when the hammer did not break 50 times.

 He went back to the Chief Minister with the stone and said to the General Minister that it is impossible to break the stone, so it cannot be made a statue of Lord Vishnu.

 The Chief Minister had to fulfill the King's order in every situation, so he handed over the task of building the statue of Lord Vishnu to a simple sculptor of a village, taking the stone, the sculptor hit him with a hammer in front of the General Minister and that stone once  Broke into itself.

 After the stone was broken, the sculptor started to make the idol. Here the General Minister thought that if the first sculptor had made another last attempt, he would have succeeded and deserved 50 postures.

 Friends, we also keep going through such situations in our life, many times our confidence is shaken before doing any work or before solving any problem, and we would give up without trying.  There are times when we do not get success in 1,2, we give up trying

 If you want to achieve success in life, then despite repeated failures, one should not stop trying until success is achieved.  Do we know that before we try to pull our hands, that should be our last attempt and we will get success in it.
